Swing Bed Program
Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is pleased to be able to offer the swing bed program to its patients.
The swing bed program is not referring to a type of bed but a Medicare program that allows
the physician to swing a patient’s level of care from acute medical care to skilled nursing services. The Swing Bed Program provides patients with specialized care and a time for rehabilitation and recovery after an acute sudden onset illness. A physician will often suggest the Swing Bed Program if the patient isn’t physically ready to go home or if the patient feels they need additional recovery time
To learn more about the Swing Bed Program, please contact the Swing Bed Program coordinator
Pam Pullen, R.N., B.S. at (580) 622-2161 ext. 115.
Volunteer Auxiliary
Arbuckle Memorial Hospital Volunteers make a big difference in
so many little ways. By answering phones, distributing flowers and lunch
trays, clerical assistance or just being a smiling face for patients and
their families, volunteers provide welcome and much needed services. If
you could spare a few hours a week, call 622-2161 and ask for the Volunteer
Auxiliary Coordinator.
